Anyone Know Of Inexpensive Cleaner To Put In A Steam Carpet Cleaners Insted Od The Expensive Recommended Ones?

just use about 1 cup of undiluted white vinegar to the hot water and then clean away. By not using soap, you’ll actually get your carpets even cleaner, because the soap residue won’t remain in the carpet fibers. When that residue DOES remain, it attracts more dirt like a sponge.

  • I use Bissell in my Hoover, none of it is cheap, plus it is made so it won’t leave a bunch of soap residue in the carpet, and I always rinse the carpet well as soap residue will attract more dirt to the carpet.

  • sams club has some…i think it’s like5 or 9 $ for a concentrated gallon

If you have a dollar tree–you can buy AWESOME–it’s only a dollar!
Smells great, I use it for everything and even cleaning my carpets with my carpet cleaner (car upholstry came out like new!). It doesn’t foam up and you don’t need much. I’d suggest whatever you decide to try–do a test spot in a closet on the carpet first..just in case. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.
