Anyone Tried A Steam Cleaner?

Has anyone ever tried a small steam cleaner, you know the kind for around the house, bathrooms, kitchens, ect? I have three boys, so the bathrooms are a little difficult and I have been thinking about trying one of those little steam cleaners. Has anyone had good results, or one they would recommend?

Has Anyone Tried One Of These Steam Cleaners For The House, And One For Clothes-any Good? Thanks?

I bought and returned the Conair which was supposed to be able to steam clean upholstery, garments and draperies. It was horrible. First, the tank was too small and needed to be refilled constantly. Secondly, it would not take wrinkles out of heavy wool suits nor heavy drapery fabric. Third, it sputtered water and left water ring marks on sheers. Overall, it was a huge disappointment. The Rowenta model is much better, has a larger tank, heats up faster and has the attachments to use it on almost anything. It is more expensive, but definitely worth it.

Has Anyone Tried A Shark Steam Mop?

I have been thinking about buying a Shark Steam mop or a Bissell Steam Mop for doing all my floors. I have alot of very dark, laminate flooring which looks beautiful when clean, but shows every last speck of dirt or dust, so I’m constantly cleaning them. The only thing that works is to get down on my hands and knees and scrub with plain water. Therefore, I was hoping that one of these steam mops might be the answer to this crappy task! What I’m wondering is: does this leave streaks? Has anyone tried one on dark laminate floors?

Has Anybody Tried To Clean Tile With The Shark?

I’ve seen a product that uses steam to clean hardwood floors and tile called the Shark. Do they work, or are they just junk?
